Rear skid shock

When I remove my rear shock on my 2006 apex rtx. Is there anything I should know before I remove it. Do I set the ride control too soft or hard?

Good question. I just took mine out, but when it came back from Pioneer Performance it had a note with it telling me to place the ride control to a specific setting before reinstalling.

I haven't reinstalled it yet as I am still waiting for my suspension parts to come back from being beefed up and powder coated. I hope there are no surprises.

I t doesn't matter, just set both to full hard on install. Turn valve in shock clockwise to full hard (I use the tang end of a round file which is square) and adjuster knob counter clockwise to full hard.
