Riding a 2006 rtx , had to move the rear shock clip to firm for the best ride !! , foamed bars , added nylon washer , air to Floats and Love the sled ! 5000km awesome !

2007 RTX has the nitro rear skid , any comments on the ride oR do I have to go to GT !!

I do prefer a sporty ride more than a plush one !

WOW not too long ago you were on a Doo and now your already making plans to buy your second Yamaha!!! I was one of the first DooTalkers to order an Apex and I've taken alot of crap for it. Now it looks like were getting alot of DooTalkers making the switch. Your question about the rear suspensions is a tough one. I really like the monoshock, its unreal how it goes over those dreaded stutter bumps at the end of the day. I think its very smooth and comfortable in most conditions but it does bottom on those deep rollers if your going fast. I think if you like to ride hard over moguls the Nitro skid would be better but I think you will be sacrificing ride quality compared to the Mono.

RTX ride is great and will not bottom after moving spring clip to full hard , then run dampening 2/3 towards firm .

the RTX is faster than our 3 mach z's and 2 apex gt's in our group and to really grease the guys , best on gas !!!

I like a firm ride so maybe RTX again , but momo shock works well , I would hate to give up any ride quality !!
