hi ,i have an 08 nytro rtx and i was just looking at my rear suspension and found at the front of rear suspension there is a cable with a metal spring around it that has an eye inlet on the end of it.where does it go .can someone post a picture of where it goes please and thanks .i tried to find it and couldnt thanks for any help.

it is also hooked up to a round cylinder .must be a reservoir for one of the shock.but where does the end with the eye inlet go to ,cant figure it out .

The end of the eyelet should go into the bottom of the shock.

i guess that means the bolt backed out then .thank towerrigger.do you know the size of bolt needed thanks.

towerrigger .what is the purpose of this cable then .does oil go through it then .thanks.

You have to pull the rear skid out Remove the shock and the cly and braided hose, check the shock for damage,If no damage then you will have to get your shock repaired/rebuild and recharged.Who ever rebuilds it will reattch the braided line.

just took the skid out to see what happened.first day i had some free time.what i noticed is the bolt is missing.what do i do now.the shock looks good and threads look good .have to get new bolt from yamaha.what do do now.can i pour some oil in the shock hole and put the hose back in with new bolt.thanks for any help.
