Yep...need a little utility out of my performance sled. (2007 Apex GT)
Bought the kids an Equinox Snowcoach and need to drag it around. Has anyone ever installed one of these (8FA-W7541-00-KT)?
Is this my only option?
How about a link or part number for the "Hitch or Hook Hitch" mentioned sold seperatly.

I went on the Yamaha Canada blog page recently and found a much broader array of accessories for all of the current sleds than what you will find on the US site. (Look at the left side of the page for the word "Accessories") The hitches are there as well. Try the part numbers with your dealer and see if they work for Yamaha's U.S. accessories inventory.

I have a hitch on my attak it works very well and looks good too. Very easy install. only need to drill 6 holes which are laid out for you.

Tantrum, are you sure that your price of 91.95 is not just for a PICTURE of the hitch. I see the same hitch in the Canadian Yamaha accessories site that Paul_C provided, is listed for 238.62. A SLIGHT difference in price, again. Sounds like you can get the better deal. Sorry, that aside, I suspect you will need that type of heavier hitch if you are pulling a substantial sleigh with passengers.

No. That's why I said to run them past the dealer to confirm that they work for that purpose. I did notice that they did match for the part shown in his first post.

I had that model hitch on my apex, it is very strong and depending on where you buy it (us-ca) is expensive. there is a 2nd model available from yammi for about $90 (us) which i installed. will be trying it out later. its much easier to install and replaces existing rear bumper only and has the pintle hook up already.

Part number 8FT-W7541-00-KT is for the attack, I have an Apex which I neglected to mention in my original post.

Ill post some pics when I get it installed.
