Here is one good reason to run four wheel rear axle! Those two wheel kit sure look cool but I would rather ride out then walk out!

WOW. Is there just a bearing left? My nieghbor down the street had a similar thing happen on his Zr900. Toasted three wheels, bearing and plastic bushings. He only noticed when he was moving the sled around in the garage.

I got a tree branch in to the out side of the track. I checked it seemed ok no wobble but about 5 miles down the trail I felt it wobble and hit my running board at about 80. Never did find it!:dunno:

I lost a rear wheel one time rode the rest of the day about 150 miles on my way home i found it on the side of the trail about 5 miles from home and it was still standing up.

Yeah no shortage of rocks on the tuscobia trail!!!!

You got lucky. That happened to my buddy on his Attak and it folded his rail straight up!

4 wheels go on every sled my family and I own.

I had one of the upper pressed on wheel bearings go. I was cruising at about 50 and thump! my sled dropped from the bearing blowing. The wheel was still riding on the inner and outer bearing race so I was able to limp it home, tair the skid out, and replaced all wheels in the skid just for save keeping and back ups. Hell of a sinking feeling when she let loose! I thought I broke the drive shaft at first!

Yep, just added a fourth to mine "just in case". Cheap insurance.

It rides on top of the snow in stead of plowing through it :rules
I will admit the Yamahas skid did an amazing job on the stutter bumps
