Recommendations on installing tunnel reinforcement/protectors

Looking good! I'll be watching for your next project. You still have two months before the snow flies.

LOL. I still have my boys' sleds to get ready, this one has taken all my time! Happy to say the to do list only has 6 easy things on it now, down from easily 45...

looking good.

don't remind me about servicing other sleds. i might have to do 6 more after i get done my 3. and there still is the 4-5 project sleds if i get there!

I have new ramps/buttons, so need to figure out how to get those in, and adjust belt in the secondary. It's too low, about 2mm below bottom. Bought shims so I can adjust and make it even. Time to do more reading!

So I have nothing to complain about!

Are the Yamaha tunnel stiffeners aluminum or steel? I'm looking at making my own and just trying to see how thick I should make them.

all the ones i have are aluminum. the older ones where closer to 1/8" material. newer ones where thicker.

Wondering if you have a 2023 update on these tunnel supports? Just bought an 08 Apex and brought it home to realize one of the exchangers is just starting to leak :o|. Was hoping to find a set of those OEM ones out there somewhere, or make my own. Assuming they solve the issue of course.
