WE had a good day this Saturday on our Superflow Dyno. It started out as a test session for our new Ductile iron sleeved Apex blocks and got a little out of hand. I'm sure you can all understand it's that HP addiction thing. Make a little and your off, the addiction takes over. All in all it was great, we had so much fun. Your on the edge of your seat before every test. What will it make with this etc. etc. I really needed to see what our new blocks can handle so I had to do it. We have made 550 HP before, but I know that's on the edge for a stock block. The cylinders will go out of round and the next thing is a cracked block. Our new block passed with flying colors. Cylinders are perfect after beating on it all day. Leakage and compression are exactly the same as before we started, unbelievable!
Time to get the engine in our Outlaw sled for some racing before the season is over. Take a look at the sheet. :flag:

Greg, nice job.

Awesome job Greg. You going to bring it to the St Germain ice drags this weekend?

Yes, if I can get the engine installed in time, we want to run ice drags on Sunday. I won't be turning it up that high because the fuel injectors are too small, As you can see the engine was getting lean at the top of the pull. I also need to make some bigger clutch weights which I won't have time to do before this weekend. Maybe the following week for the "Battle of the Bays" or the week after that for the "World Series" :flag:

I Should clarify the post !!!!!

This is record power for GNS Enterprises and may not be for the rest of the engine builders from all over the world for that matter.

There is more power to be had here when I get my fuel in the right place, but for now we are happy with this, not that we know how to put it down.

Thanks to all for there comments. :flag:

Awesome power Greg! We hope to see Ryan and you at the Battle on the Bay next weekend. H&H Performance

That's awesome power Greg! I know you have a very conservative dyno so those numbers are very impressive. Hope to catchup with you again at the Weenie Roast in a few weeks.

Hi Jim
Haven't seen you in a while, what are you doing these days?
I run 8 injectors but there sized to make 550HP. The engine got a little lean on that 614 pull and fuel presure dropped also. If I was sized for 600+HP i'm sure it would have made more power than it did. Problem is if I change injectors, it will require a re-map of the fuel program. Don't have time for that now, would like to get a couple races in before this winter is over, looks like the end is coming quickly almost 60 degrees today in Chicago.
Hope to see you soon

Hi Justin,
yes you are correct, I'm a conservative kind of guy.
The biggest issue for me is not making the power, it's keeping the block together. I think my sleeves are helping.
Hope to see you at the weenie roast, if the ice don't melt!!!!!!!
