I have a minimum of 3 sets of numbers for my sled. NY-NH-PA and most likely VT this season. I just bought a new Apex and refuse to put 3 different sets of registration stickers on my new sled.
Ive seen plexiglass holders but dont know where to get them.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, you might justhave to deal with it, or remove the numbers when you're sone in that state for the season. Many authorities may fine you for having an easilly removeable set of numbers. They may assume that you will be transferring those numbers to other sleds. I have had experience with that before. My Apex is fully painted, and I don't like and stickers or anything on it, so I've been carrying my registration and numbers in a zip-lock in the seat storage area.
I didn't want the mess of having an out of state sticker ruining my widshield, so I put some painters tape down first, and carefully trimmed the tape the same size as the sticker, so I could remove it without the residue. While in Wi last season, I was stopped by the DNR at a gas station, and he saw that I had done that with my sticker, and he made me purchase another sticker and stick it on my sled in front of him! My damage control made him suspect some kind of fraud, so I guess I'll have to deal with trying to remove that nasty sticker residue every year.

In Pittsburgh NH I got questioned 3 times in one day. The second guy to stop me knew who I was apparently when I pulled out the zip lock with NY, PA, NH, and a Canada pass. He started laughing and said "oh okay, I heard about you"
The plaques look like they will work, Ill just have to get several sets. Thanks for the link.

Try a strip on 3M vinyl rock gaurd film put the stickers on the film then when you are ready to take them off just remove the 3M strip.Just my .02
I reside in PA and have PA and NY registration. If I recall correctly, because of the PA residency/registration, I just have to have the annual NY registration validation sticker on the sled (about the size of a postage stamp) with the PA license number sticker. I do not have to use the NY license numbers on my sled.
You may want to double check the NY snowmobile manual that is online at the NY DMV website.
EDIT: I just pulled this off the NY site:
"Snowmobiles already registered in another state or province must be registered at a Motor Vehicle office or a snowmobile dealer who participates in the state's prepaid registration program. Snowmobiles legally registered in another state or province are NOT required to display the New York State registration number decals, only the yearly validation stickers. The stickers must be displayed next to the home state or province registration sticker or number."

They could work, but for optimum convenience, I would want to fix the retaining nuts in place, so you could just remove/install the plates by unscrewing the countersunk screws. Otherwise you would need access behind the panels to deal with the retaining nuts.

If you place your stickers on a piece of film, you risk getting busted for tampering with the sticker, rightarm. They don't intend for you to be able to remove it easilly, or they may suspect you will switch the sticker to another sled. Their goal is for the sticker to be destroyed if removal is attempted. You arent supposed to be able to save it, even if you're intenentions are just to protect your sled's finish. I've been told that first hand by a DNR.

Technically Nate is correct.
Ive had the opportunity
on several occasions to discuss this matter with various divisions of fun police. Most have come on strong but once they realize all your papers are legit, you tell them a few funny stories etc, we all seem to part ways happy. Im sure my time will come when I meet up with someone less reasonable but until then Ill take my chances
What I would really like to find is a mounted plate with a plexi cover so I could put the reg Im using on top of the others behind the glass.
Ill also look into seeing if I I can run one plate as my primary and just the little sticker for each state. That makes sense to me.
My problem with that might be is that my main residence is NJ, the one state I dont register in because....it dont freakin snow like that here

You could use our product and just cut the stickers where the screws are.
