reinforcing cylinders/block and resleeving on rx motor

Who has done this? Do you have pics? Simons does it for $2500. Has anyone had them do this?

we do , 500.00 to close deck the block you dont have to resleave the block unless the cylinder is bad.

on our race motors we use stock cylinders and close deck the block and use 12 mm studs..but we only race for 5 sec some guys are putting cast sleaves... let me know I can help...

Do you do resleeving, I have one bad cylinder? Can you install steel sleeves?

yes we do, and if you do steel you would need to all of them.. I would just repair the needed cylinder and close deck the block, thats what we do and works good for us.. how much boost are you trying to run that would make a differance on what to do and is it for race or trail.. call me anytime

how much does this impair the cooling system.could you do this on a trail/lake machine or is it just on race sleds?

I only run this on race motors but we have not seen any diffance in water temp with or with out the closed deck, and if you look at a gasket all holes match perfect so I would say good for trail to.

do you recommend the metal motor mounts or is that a race only thing?

if it was mine I would but I am all about getting all the power I can to the ground, and rubber mounts move and = belt miss alinement ect... from what I know about you I would say the gain is worth the extra vibes..
