Look at motorcycle led tail lights maybe. They are generally designed to be pretty small and discrete. I am thinking that you could mount one to the reflector bracket and not interfere with the bumper brackets at all.

I relocated my light using the light shown at the beginning of this thread to the rear of the tunnel. "The taillight relocate mod" as discussed here on other threads.
It works great at first, and looks oem, but it always gets iced up and people behind me complain that it sucks to see my light. I land up wiping it clean at every stop.
I like the led next to the exhaust, that area never ices and is easier to see on the trail.

My stock light iced bad too, just a product of the sled exhaust I suppose, I am curious to see how mine will be now with the undertunnel
