Thought I would pass on my experiences....finally spent the weekend Sans sway bar. Was prepared for it to be real tippy in the corners (I can sit on the sled on flat ground and really get it to move from side to side). However, I have found that on the trail it is not bad at all as you can now get the sled to lean going into the turn and it holds real well. Where I was really surprised was on the single track twisty windy wood trails.
There were a lot of off camber bumps and ruts and such and I think it actually helped. Here is my thinking; With the sway bar in, I will stand on one side to keep the sled from tipping over but the sway bar keeps the uphill side from compressing much which makes the sled want to go over. Now, I stand on that side and the uphill side compresses and keeps me at much less drastic of an angle and it feels more stable. I have not really had a chance to try it in the powder but I can tell it will be a drastic improvement for boondocking and climbing. Thought I would share.

When you did this did you change any of your spring tension on your shocks? I'm also thinking of doing this on my 05.

What about high speed trail riding? Did it feel a little tippy?

I had my sway bar out this weekend in revelstoke. I can tell you it will stay out. Awesome for sidehilling etc. Didnt really notice it on the trail.

Yes, I did replace my 03' springs with straight rate (2.3) springs
I noticed it a little on the trail, but what I found out is that I could get the thing to lean over prior to entering the turn and with that lean it rails the corners. If I wasn't pro-active like that, I could notice it a bit in the turn especially if I let off the gas. It wasn't enough to make me want to put it back in.
