Ok, it looks pretty straightforward. Removed the reverse linkage bolt at top (left rest of linkage attached to case) then the two screws holding the brake caliper, two allen screws holding the parking brake, clip holding the disc on with spacers, then two large bolts and 3 small ones holding the chaincase. Thought a few wacks with the rubber mallet and it would break free. Still seems to not want to come off.....am I forgetting something?

There is a triangular piece of the reverse linkage (a pivot that connects the vertical rod to the horizontal rod) that has to be removed in order for the cover to be removed.

Thanks very much for your replies, I definitely appreciate it. I forgot to mention, that even though I didn't know what the bolt was for, that I already had removed the 10mm bolt.
Hey you guys forgot to tell me about the torx set screw on the collar that fits behind the disc
Looks like Lazy was right though, the reverse linkage was too tight. I took everything apart cuz I wanted to make sure those noises I was hearing occasionally weren't doing any damage. They weren't. All better now.
