After adding the wildchild post, it blocks the gauges completely, was thinking of mounting it in the old steering post location....any help, advice and pics would be great before I tackle this...the stance on the rider forward kit feels great, 2" of rise is about perfect surprisingly

First link is my post but the photos were removed for some unknown reason photo bucket but on page two there are some screen shots of other guys set-up. Link two is my sled but no close up shots. I used a PVC cap and drilled holes in it. Works well. I also used TYVEK tape to seal out the engine heat and keep the fog from steaming up the pod. I could take close up shots if needed sled is a part right now. under tunnel exhaust going in.

just started to unwrap the wires from the pod and headlights, good idea on the PVC cap...does it give you enough angle to see it well? I just ordered a 5" block riser...and I have some apex bars

If I had to do it all over again I would mount to the bars like the turbo boast meter some guys have. I have to look down to see the pod but it's not to bad.

love mine - simply cut up and bent a couple of bucks worth of aluminum
