Is there any way to remove the clock from displaying, I don't want to see the clock every time i look down, We go toride and get away not to watch a clock, basically we never have a time schedule to be anywhere except on the trail. IS there someway to just remove its display from view other than a piece of tape

Put a small slice of duct tape of it, or close your eyes.

Just set the clock with incorrect time. Or like the others say, stop looking down.
Aside from going into the cluster and cutting a track on the circuit board or snipping a wire in a ribbon cable, I wouldnt see any way to disable just the clock.

I wish it were a thermometer myself , that would be more useful.
I've always thought the same thing! I have no use for the barometer, but I wouldn't mind a thermometer.w8tn4snow said:I wish it were a thermometer myself , that would be more useful.

You could create a feed to Google's new free wireless service and stream whatever content you want to it. Here's the link:
http://www.google.com/tisp/
However, it may only work from home and maybe not on the trail.
