Does anyone have a RX-1 repair manual you could share with me? I have the service manual but that doesn't get into as much detail as I had hoped.

:yam:

i am looking for that to

if you find one please send me it

I have the CD with all the manuals for a 2003 RX-1 and I downloaded all the files onto my computer. It has a nice setup screen with all the manuals listed as icons that open Adobe PDF documents. Problem is, all together the folder is 385mb which is too large for email.

Any suggestions on where I can upload it to so you guys can download it?

EDIT: I just opened it and it has the specifications, assembly, owners, service, and wiring manuals. I don't see any repair manual...

What does the repair manual have that the service manual does not?

The service manual is the one you need the most. I have the CD as well, the service manual is all I have ever needed when working on the engine and other stuff on my sleds.

You may refer to the "Technical Update" books that most dealers mechanics have in their garage. It mostly covers techical recalls, bulletins and other setup related stuff not printed anywhere else, but it covers very little on assembly/tear down procedures.

If there is anything you need clarification on, feel free to ask on this forum or in the Turbo/SC forum. If you need info on engine work, take a look at the sticky post in the Turbo/SC forum posted by lakercr, very well covered and includes pics of an engine teardown and assembly.

The 2003 Yamaha RX-1 Service Manual is a 333 pages document and covers almost anything on teardown to assembly of the RX-1.
