Rev limiter bounce

Wait, when you crank the engine over, or when you accelerate hard? What rpm are we talking about. Please explain further

His "cranking on it" is his way of saying punching the throttle wide open.

Sounds to me like either belt slip or track spin. No other way the engine could over-rev.

Are you sure it's the rev limiter, and not the TORS activating for some reason?

Yes, explain further. Is this from a dead stop?, or rolling & anytime you go wide open?

Its only when wfo and theres no real performance issue. It could be related to track sliping to the ground. Usually about 10800rpm.

10,800 is good. Your NOT hitting the rev limiter at that RPM. Or are you suggesting your RPM's are exceeding this by a lot on occasion?

If it's hitting it at the first stab of the throttle then add a washer or two to the heel.

Either I am drunk or you are. Speak in full sentences, proof read, and see if what you are explaining makes any sense. 10,800 is right on spec for WOT. If reving far beyond that, I assume Mr. Ulmer is giving you best advice for his clutch kit, and yes, check belt codition. :drink:

When i full stab it will bounce after about 2 seconds

Once again, since you haven't answered it yet.... is this from a dead-stop going WOT? OR while rolling at say... 30,40,50 MPH and going WOT?

If it's from a dead-stop, you're spinning the track excessively (learn some throttle control)

If it's from a roll at speed, somethings amiss in the clutching as Mr.Ulmer suggested.

This is funny for telling someone to proof read. You are missing an N in the word condition. :jump:

Jeez u sure are an angry fella. I may have had a few white russians in me but thats besides the point.

Its kinda hard to discribe and type on my phone. Im trying to get my go pro vid to upload an u can hear it yourself. Its deff in the clutch weights and its not on launch. Its more when im approxhing 70-90mph, u cant feel it or notice it besides the sound.

Obviously your clutching is off, causing an over rev. This is bad for your motor and can cause damage, so I'd fix it. Curious, are you using stock weights, or an aftermarket clutch kit?

If you have a clutch kit, you can bring your RPM's down several ways. First, you can try what Ulmer is recommending here by adding weight to the heel. If tjhat doesnn't work then try removing some from the tip weights.
