did you drive a xp? I drove an xp etec and personally sitting to standing is a lot better on the nytro. Im 5'11 and probably wont put risers on it, but if i had the xp i think i would, its kind of low imo for standing.

The REV has a very defined seating position without much room to adjust forward or back, so the knees are pretty much locked in one position for most of the time (resulting in the REV Knee Syndrome - and the bottle of ibuprofen in the pocket for every ride). The standing positon is a bit hunched over for me at 6-1. The Nytro seating position is much like the REV, but the bars are a little higher and the footwells are a little more forward. This makes the Nytro more comfortable to ride both sitting with room to move around a bit, and expecially standing. No scrunching over - multiple foot placement options. Very much like a dirt bike when standing. The overall taller riding position of the Nytro does mean that you are sitting higher than on the REV and therefore must move around more in the corners to avoid a surprise inside ski lift. The nytro riding position is best described as -very active- if you want to push the sled to its limits.
I can't comment much on the XP comparison - very little time on one - other than the sharply forward canted floor boards tend to push me forward into the bars when standing.
I've ridden REV's from 2003 to 2006, Phazer in 2007 and Nytro's since then. If not for the rider=forward position, my back and I would have given up the sport in 2003.

stay with the REV - no comparison. I logged many miles on my nytro, never could dial that beast in.

It does take quite a bit of time to dial in the Nytro to your liking, riding area, weight, and the Fox floats are not the best for the trails IMO (GYT Dual Clicker

Do a search I did a few reviews late last year between the Nytro RTX and 08 XP 800R X. I had both last year. I'm 5'8 and I was not able to ride the XP with out putting in a 6.5 riser instead of the stock 4. The 2.5 rise on the XP make a world of difference when it comes to stand up riding.
I personally love the Nytro better, and sold my XP for this season. Both have there pluses you just have to decide what you like better.
