Jeeez I hope everyone turns up...my thoughts go out to the families of those 3 that didn't make it. Man...I don't even know what to say...

Just talk to Mr. Climbmax, he is not there and he did not think Jim was in attendance either?

Thoughts and prayers out to all involved!

Randy is in Mexico and I am safe & sound in Winnipeg (Yamafest is scheduled for the end of March in Revy).

Horrible tragedy, and I can't begin to imagine how hard last night was for those missing loved ones.

Hoping for the best as searching continues today.

Good to hear you guys are safe Jim. I thought it was BIR you were going out for. When I heard the news I just felt sick!

Glad to hear no one from here is hurt or worse. This is going to put some new rules in place for events like this in the future and maybe for the good of events like this. From what I read the possibility of avalanche was very high.

pray for everyone..this could end the shoot out...it is not an event reconised by the B C government...this is a sad day for sledders...

Where do you draw the line at 'event', 'gathering', 'sancioned', etc??

Everyone goes there at this time of year and it's nicknamed 'Big Iron Shootout'. Why does it need a license? etc....

Condolences to those involved.....

I was thinking more of having some avalanche professionals hired to blast and trigger potential avalanches prior to the event.
