Rider fatigue

If you do get an Apex ,what ever year/model. Look into a WRP seat. They list for $299 and attach to the factory seat pan. Best mod I've done to mine by far. Puts my hips above the knee's. 250 + mile days are now a breeze.

Put a WRP seat on and the Apex with EPS Will be great for you.

I have a '12 Apex SE, and everything Kinger said is spot on. When people not familiar with snowmobiling ask about sleds....I describe the Apex as a Harley or cruising bike, whereas the Sidewinder and Vipers would be more comparable to a sport bike.

With 25 years of roofing under my belt, several broken vertebrae and a bag full 'o broken arm and wrist bones....the Apex is great on being the least abusive on my body......while still have the ability to handle and ride aggressively. The power steering is awesome, and 200+ mile days are not an issue.

Be aware, for smaller riders, the Apex needs a lot of upgrades. The Mega Float sucks if you are under 225 lbs. I've switched skis to Curves with slim jims, Ohlin rear, and remote dampers by HyGear in front. I added the running board reinforcement, and this Apex handles perfectly. Absolutely not a ditch banger though. The stock windshield keeps me warm, without being stupidly large.

I have the 129" and have zero tunnel rack storage. As mentioned....the seat is fairly soft. At 180 lbs, I even notice it's kinda plush.

You will absolutely not regret getting an Apex.

Thanks for your replies Guys, The seat height that a few of you mentioned makes sense! my major issue is my thighs burn after riding and i believe its because i use my legs to absorb the bumps at that low angle seated position or like Kinger said "your hips are higher than your knees"(on the Apex) will help alot. Ive already convinced myself i wanted an Apex and all your input just helps me move forward sooner than later.

I've got the PERFECT sled for you in the Claasifieds forum. PM me for more details or to get my phone number. I see you are in Wisc....I live in NW Wisc.

X2 on the Venture Gt, the Backrest and windshield make this rolling couch a pleasure to ride all day. I will switch up with some friends every so often and regret it every time, This Gt is faster and more comfortable then most i have been on lately....Give me my couch back!
