Working on making myself more of a speed track, curious if anyone that has the ripsaw 2 track has done anything with the raised bumps on the inside of the track whether it be grinding/cutting then flat? I know it's not necessary and I have 2700 miles on mine which is studded and haven't had any issues but gonna be trying a little different setup later on in the winter to do speed runs and thinking I may try to grind them off on the new track I have coming. Any tips or ideas?

In theory the bumps should help the track rotate more smoothly, the bumps fill in the gaps created when the rack is bent around the drivers/wheels. In reality, who knows?Working on making myself more of a speed track, curious if anyone that has the ripsaw 2 track has done anything with the raised bumps on the inside of the track whether it be grinding/cutting then flat? Ya that's where I'm unsure, it's an arctic cat thing I'm sure, but cats run pretty darn fast. I'm also concerned with when I stud it, again I haven't had any trouble with mine that's on now and a lot of studs fall on those bumps, but I'm going to be going with longer much more aggressive studs in the new track so don't want there to be any strength issues with the track
If you want to race or go fast call Allen. While there is a ton of knowledge here, it i smy understanding that he's been doing this as a family effort for a good number of years.

Ya I've chatted with Allen recently and got some real good info, hoping that later this year I'll be able to work together with him some on some more setup stuff. Right now I'm just getting the track setup to run some good speeds. Hoping when it's all said and done to be able to run some 120-125mph speeds with just a little low boost turbo
