I just bought a brand new take off track that I'm going to be putting on my viper for this coming year, 137" track. It's the same exact thing as what's on the sled now except I'm going with longer studs and a different pattern. Anyways what I'm wondering is if anyone has taken a grinder to the quiet bumps on the inside of the ripsaw 2 track? Those bumps have got to rob some power and speed. I'm going to try to remove them with a flap disk on a grinder unless anyone has any easier or better approaches. I don't plan to take them down completely flush cuz I don't want to weaken the track but I'm planning to take the majority of the bump off.
