I am thinking about putting the 3 gallon rotopax and 2 gallons storage container on the back of my mtx. I have the skinz seat, under tunnel exhaust, and under seat storage, and stage 1 MPI SC on the way :)

Anyone have experience with doing the 3 gallon can or 2 of the 2 gallon cans? I have looked at mountain addiction, and craiggerbuilt. But i have the rotopax on my dirt bike and like that setup, but is only with 1 gallon.

Thanks for any input, and for anyone interested in Upper Peninsula snow conditions....... Marquette County has between 2 and 4 feet everywhere! If it keeps up we will be looking great come December.

I went with the mountain addiction 2x5L kit.. It is awesome.. rolled the sled hard twice last year and they held on just fine. They slide on beautifully.

I like the rotopax too.. but not so much for sledding unless you find a spot where they won't hang over an edge and get caught if you do roll or catch a tree.. but.. they are cheaper.

Been running the 3G Rotopax now for 3 years to avoid a trail tank install. Works better than my XM's LinQ fuel tank which freezes on solid every time I ride and if you don't have a screwdriver to break the ice around the locking tabs, it ain't coming off.

Only thing I did was add a 1mm plate on the underside of the tunnel to reinforce it, which I would recommend because the top of the tunnel on the MTX is super thin and won't support the weight very well. Doesn't matter which tank you select, you'll need to add some strength if you want it to survive.

OTM

I didn't know you could get a horizontal mount like that. .. Never thought of simply making one with the 90* mounts I have seen. Either way that's a really good looking setup.

Off trail mike, thanks for sharing that pic. That's exactly what I am going to do now that I see how well it fits.

I have the 2gallon rotopax and a skins bag on top, Works great. I also have under tunnel exhaust(homemade)
