Rotopax Fuel Cell on Viper Rear Tunnel

Super news guys. Just received my 1.75 gal rotopax and my expandable tunnel bag from Yamaha. The tank fits right inside with room to spare on sides and room for additional items to fill the expandable portion of bag.

This is on a 129"RTX SE also.

I'm so stoked for this simple and clean solution for U.P riding. Might just need some Velcro straps to add some length to existing straps inside. Tank fits nice and snug so I dont see it moving much.

Be sure to check your rotopax dimensions as they vary based on size. I think anyone with a 1 gallon is good to go. My 1.75 gal is 3.5 thick.

The tank is inside in the first pic. Second pic is the inside with tank. Good luck guys!

That's awesome, 2 gal and hidden with storage to spare. Sweet idea...

What sled do you have? Appears you have more room on your tunnel or is yours an RTX?

So I added the deluxe mount to my rotopax to keep it stable while in the bag. Worked great, just made a small hole in bottom of my bag so mount could fit through. Remember I have an RTX so my tunnel is shorter past the seat.

Even with my 1.75 gal can I can fit a tool set, tow rope, jumper cables, battery tender, shock pump, bungee cords, gloves and still have a fair amount of space if I expand the bag.

Very Happy with this solution!

I'm gonna run a bolt up through the tunnel up put a double nut and than put the rotopax with a big flat washer and nut on top to hold mine secure inside my bag
