Any one seen these New specific handguards that are made for the apex/attack, thinking about buying a set www.roxspeedfx.com but wanted to get opinion on looks and durability if any one has already purchased them. Look like thier a powermaid guard with a special bracket to monut to apex handlebars

I had a set but sold them after one trip,I don't think they worked very well. They didn't give me any more wind protection like I thought they would They mounted real low and I did not like the mounts. so in my opinion don't waste your money like I did, just my .02

They look just like the Powermadds to me, and I wouldnt have much confidence in those mounts. I think Id rathar have a mount that wraps all the way around the bars.
I tried handguards with the extensions on my sled (Ive got a 4 1/2" bar riser with 9" windshield) because I figured that would help keep my hands warmer.
Well, yesterday I took my handguards off because they didnt keep my hands any warmer than not having handguards. Im just going to have to go back to wearing thicker gloves when its really cold. I normally wear these really thin snocross gloves but when its below 15 degrees I freeze my hands with those gloves. I had hoped that handguards would remedy that, but I was mistaken.
So, if you are thinking about handguards with the impression that they will keep your hands warmer, just know that in my experience they didnt keep my hands warmer (and IMO the handguard extensions look kinda dorky...).
