Wondering what RPM everyone is idleing @ How can it be dowered. Mine is right around 2000, I thought it should be around 18- 1600.

iwas driving mine thru deep sno abd mine was idling at 1300 and then picked up to normal. lights kept flashing. and then shut off motor waited a couple minutes and beat her all the way home. yamaha says my sled doesnt overheat so i ll drive it till it implodes

I think there is some kind of screw on the clutch side just behind the front shock under a cap. I think if you take the cap off you can adjust the idle. It's in the handbook.

Its on the clutch side, under a rubber cap
and you'd come in at it from the front of the sled behind the shock

mines at like 2300, i guess i should fix that!
How far is the screw in there. I took the plug out and tried to see in the tiny hole. No luck, I got a drop light and I still cant see or find it. Any help would be great.

I believe it is right there.1/2in back maybe.It could be that it came out of the clip that holds it.All it is is like a small flexible hose that goes up to the actual idle screw.The knob with the phillips slot is black.If you take the airbox off it is real easy to see right in area of oil filter.

Cannondale-- It must have came off, because it is not there. I'll look into taking out the air box.
