Im hoping someone can help me figure out why my RS rage ('05 with 2k) is spitting oil out of the breather tube located above the oil reservoir. If I remove the dipstick or the vent tube on the oil reservior while the enigine is running everything is fine but as soon as I connect these it immediately begins to spit oil out the breather tube. I checked the plugs for signs of a blown headgasket and everything looks great, anti-freeze level looks great. Is there a PCV on these things that could be creating too much crankcase pressure? What is the small metal part that the vent tubes from the oil reservior go into and the breather tube from the airbox comes out of? The engine sounds great, the crankcase tube is clear and no smoke comming out of it so i dont think that a ring is cracked. Somehow the oil tank is getting way to much pressure? Also - oil levels are fine - changed every season with yamaha syn. Any help in getting me out on the trail will be much appreciated! Im tiered of riding the old polaris indy....thanks
