Just an FYI for you Vector owners if you're interested...

I have two buddies, one with an 06 Vector GT the other an 04 XC700 Pro X. They raced about 500 ft stretch and the Vector had about 3 sled lengths on the XC. Both are stock and I was very surprised at this.
They raced about 4 times, same results every race.

Good Job Yamaha.

Yeah i had the same results against an 700xcsp which pretty much surprised me. Didn't have as good as luck against an 05 F7 though.

I'm pretty confindent that our vectors are as fast, if not faster than our neighbors Arctic Cat 660 turbos. We never officially raced, but from a stand still start, the vector pulls on the 660 like it's shut off. Once the turbo spools up, he gets going, but every time he'd done that, I'd backed off the throttle. I did hit an indicated 105 (as did my cousin on our other vector).

I had a xcsp600 nice ride quick sled. However, I jumb on my wife's new Vector and was totally surprised with the preformance. I was a rocket. Now mind you I just got off my Apex. THe Vector is a very impressive. If you are riding a Vector you should have mirrors tho .... so you can keep track of the guys behind you.

Storm-Chaser Wow you can beat a Doo 700? I am going riding with a Doo 700 in a few weeks but I assumed that he was faster than me. We will see.
