What coolant (anti-freeze) is recommended for the 2006 RS Vector GT? Wasn't sure if a specific brand (i.e. - color - yellow vs. orangish)... Just want to take an extra bottle for the trip just in case...

Honestly don't think it matters. I've run green/yellow Prestone 50-50 (premix right in the gallon jug) for years in my 05 Vector. I also add a product called Water Wetter. It's made by Redline if memory serves.

Keep the orange $hit out of EVERYTHING you own.
That crap sludges up so fast it'll make your head spin.
Stick with good 'ol green. Either buy it 50/50 mixed or buy concentrate & mix 60/40 yourself.
