OK I know and you guys know all about the stock hot grips on the nytro's....junk. Lost them twice already. So I finally broke down and bought the RSI grips got them from the dealer part # SMA-HOTGP-HK, however, the instructions are telling me to hook the blue and white together and red on its own, however, there is no blue wire there is only black, red and white. I'm assuming the black is substituting for the blue??? Just wondering if anyone else purchased these and ran into the same situation?

You don't want to hook any together. Each element has two separate circuits which come together at the end, otherwise there would be four wires. Use a switched power source like the brake light circuit and use a separate toggle switch for each wire and the third wire to ground. Now one switch on for low, both on for high and when the ecu tries to turn the grips off it won't matter.

^Trace the circuit and see what colors match up

Red and blue together. I just changed mine yesterday and they are working great in -35c today in sunny Manitoba Canada!
