ok besides track length what are major differences in these two models
Found a 15 rtx-dx with 2000'miles on it for 7500
And a 15 ltx-se new for 9500
Is the ltx worth 2000$?

- Yamaha sr viper 15 ltx dx, mpi 190 turbo, straight line header, 38" mtx front end, mtx steering, mtx seat, xtx 141" skid and 2.25" power claw track
2019 sidewinder xtx le, sleeping for now
Dx will have coilover shocks, tall windshield, heated seat, and the bigger bag behind the seat, ltx le will have the fox air shocks which cost more but aren't necessarily better, it's a personal choice I guess.ok besides track length what are major differences in these two models

Will I give up that much on track length from the 129 to the 137? I can always add fox shocks if I think I need them

Actually it's less than that. The LTX uses an 8" wheel. So it's more like 2.5" more track on the ground. Think of it simply as one more track lug on the ground over the RTX.Track length only 3 inches touching the snow.

You Will ride faster and more confident. Bumps that would surprised you before won't terrify you anymore.
