I have a 05 RX1 that I will be keeping for two more years (kids in college) before I try something else.

I want to improve on my mono suspension. I had the mono shock re valved so it would not bottom out, but it compromised the ride.

I was talking to someone over the weekend and they suggested the Nytro RTX suspension. They said it would be a nice upgrade.

I spent sent some time on the Apex form looking under the RTX skid and everybody said they ride like a board. I am not sure if the Nytro RTX skid is the same as the Apex.

I trail ride 90% of the time so I am looking for a good ride that can handle cranking it up in the bumps. I love to drag race also so the hook up/transfer is very important also.

That is another thing i did see people complaining about was the transfer with the RTX skid.

The other option is that I could have Hygear put dual rate springs and re-valve all my shocks.

Thanks Bruce

Cheapest route is what hygear would recommend. There is actually a guy that put a apex mono skid in his nytro claiming it's more compliant on small stuff and not harsh in the big stuff. I would just send to hygear tell them weight an how u ride and let them send u a package of parts. That's what I'm doing with my nytro shocks this summer
