Hi everyone. I'm sorry if this is sort of a double post as I touched on this issue in another thread of mine but got no response. I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure this out and I'm simply stumped, so here's a new thread, with more photos, dedicated to this question.

2012 Nytro RTX, 8 tooth 2.86" drivers, and a roughly 4" relocation bracket kit. The part number on my track is a 9156H, which from everything I find online states it's a 15x120x1.25" RipSawII track. Everything else on the skid looks stock besides the shocks themselves. The track adjusters in the back are about 3/4 out.

How can I have the whole skid moved back 4" but still have a 120" track? Does anyone have more experience with this that can please help explain this to me? I bought the snowmobile this way...

Not sure which relocation kit you purchased, but the one I purchased for my 2008 Nytro RTX from Star Suspension required me to replace the 121" track with a 128" track due to the suspension being moved further back. The only other thing I can think of would be if smaller drivers were installed that maybe a longer track was not required but you indicated you are running 8 tooth drivers which I believe is stock.

Count the lugs , that will tell you the track length to verify .

45 lugs/windows.

45x2.86" pitch = 128.7 ~ 129" track?

If that math above is accurate, I feel real dumb making this post, haha. That 9156H part number shows 120" everywhere I've looked online. Really threw me for a loop. But at least now I know what to look for. I've got about 3" of water in my front yard right now with this crazy storm Michigan is getting. No better time than now to work on the sled and get it ready for the seemingly nonexistent winter we're having.

That track is pretty bad shape. I found the same track for sale locally, used but never studded and what looks to be in nice shape. I might see about buying it today and swapping them out.

Thanks again everyone.

Yes that'll be a 129. Don't feel dumb for posting. This winter sure is turning out to be a little disappointing. It's not over yet though
