RTX- the right choice?

I'm not sure I understand the difference between the RTX and the regular Apex. I know that the RTX has fox floats up front. Is that the only difference? Or is the rear suspension on the RTX different too?

Rear skid is same as ER Im quite sure, so just paint the floats and the windshield and reverse is an option so to speak

one would think the RTX have a diggerent rear spring where its more for rough trails then hard pack like the normal apex

Well that's what I thought too but it never seems to say anywhere that the rear suspension is any different.

Bring you winter coat in case it gets cold, rain jacket because it usually rains, and the sun tan lotion for backup if the sun peeks out.

Funny story..

4 years ago me and 3 of my buddys went to jefferson and all but one guy wore a coat and pants.. the one guy wore shorts and a T shirt... it just happened that it was only 33 degrees that day by accident and man did everyone laugh and stare at him for wearing shorts.... He had to pay a guy $16 for a sweatshirt because he was freezing..

A good friend of mine started all of this 28 years ago. Not bad for some rinky dink car show and selling a few hot dogs. He has a story after every show and then I hear stories from way back. However, some of his stories can be a bit stretched.
