I decieded to get the new front shocks from the GT for RTX.
I think I will like them better than the fox floats.
But now Ill have both to try.
I am supposed to get my sled on Wednesday, but I heard that before.

I was thinking of doing the same thing till I rode the RTX, I think the added weight of the sled makes the floats perform awesome, good enough that now I think Id rather spend the money on the electric ohlins for the rear instead.

I am really glad I bought my GT just for those reasons. I was not sure how the floats would really work and with the uncertainty of any reliability issues there might be. Also, I really liked the Ohlins electric.

I dont see why so many ppl dont like the floats.I know i have not been able to use them enough to see how long they last but as far as comfort and tuning options for these i just love them.

I talked to several f7 owners & all loved them but one. Isn't the '06 shock on the Yamha even better? I'l let you know what I think of mine as soon as we get some snow.
