Rubber flap and ecp kit

For those who have installed the ECP kit, What have you done with the rubber flap that "protects" the tops of the plugs. I like how it looks but since it is attached to the air box I took it off. I know I've seen a few pictures with it still on. Did you guys just fabricate something or is there an easy way??

It'll still fit over the carb boots. Do install it or you'll get snow down in the carb linkage.

I actually cut the holes on the flap and reused it with the filters...

You can squeeze it over the filters but it makes it harder to get at the clamps!

Left mine off as a bear to fit on the flange with the filters, flange not think enough IMHO.
