When I hit the throttle it goes to 9100-9200 instantly and will creep as high as 9350 on a long run.. I see they have the heavy 4.5 gram rivet in the inner and center hole, but only a 2.4 gram in the tip.. If I were to put a 4.5 in the tip, is there any venture at what RPM's would do.. Hoping to get down in the 8500-8750 range... All Yamaha clutch expert opinons welcome.. thanks, Chad

this is your 08 nytro right ? sounds like something is slipping on top,old belt maybe ?i would say that rivet would only drop your rpm by 200 at the most from my experience, check the basics first

How many miles on the sleds?
Might be time for some maintance.
I would take both clutches appart and clean them good. Wash the clutch faces with hot soapy water the rinse/dry.
Then replace the secondary clutch buttons. As they wear it is like taking away degrees on your helix. Put on a new belt and I bet she will be ok.
If not then maybe the motor is breaking in all the way and can pull some more weight.
