RX 1 bender turbo only 2 PSI HELP

i am only running 6 pounds i just got a gauge going to check the pressure in a few minutes should be 5 to 6 pound ?

I just check the fuel pressure and it is just below 5 i am going to try it at 6 psi ? can you guys think of anything else ? how does the regulatur turn up the pressure with the boost ?

I got to look at that I only have 2 hose at the bottom one goes to the carbs and the other goes under the motor somewere ? and the regulator is in the front does this sound right ?

One hose has a T and goes to each pair of carbs.

The other hose goes to the pressure regulator.

yes and the otherone is supose to go to the regulator ? it seems like it goes under the motor somewere . does it split underthere somewere ? And again thanks for all the info

Witch hose is supose to be the boost one on the regulator ? the one hose that goes under the motor doesen seem to be conected and on the regulator the one at the top were the set screw is, is only 6 inchs long and goes nowere ?

The hose that goes to the set screw goes to the innercooler. That hose increases fuel pressure according to boost.

well that was the problem the second hose was under the motor not conected to anything so i hook it up to the regulator I am hoping thats the problem . I think we covered everything now lol
Thanks Again

Hey guys we finaly got this thing going good. Went fishing yesterday it ran stong and lots of power. I was getting 100 mph in 2 feet of powder no problem. There is just a little popping wen idling I am thinking bigger pilot.
And wen i let off from WOT and get back on it she bogs for a bit ,but I think a blow off valve would fix some off that. I would like thank this forum , BigDog05 and mbarryracing.

Even though you got it running good I would do a compression test on it just to see how healthy the engine is. After running that high on the air/fuel it could easily have caused some detonation and it could get worse the more you run it. By checking now it could give you a baseline to go by at a later date.

Ken....

dans2231: I don't remember where your pilot screws are set.

If it is only popping during idle, you can go out to about 2 1/2 turns or so to richen up the idle.

If its popping during light acceleration, I would add a second line to the carb slides. Just put an extra fitting under innercooler.

When you have the innercooler off, blow into the line going to the carb slides. I would bet 1 pair is rising much faster than the other.
