RX1 Tahoe, I'm 6'4",and wish I was 240. A little more. The nice thing is, the guys in my group are trained to get to the RX asap, when I roll it, to get it upright. With my bars that high, I do have a little more leverage too.
BlgsRX1 Mtn, MAN we had a lot of snow didn't we? The last day was the most fun, John and I went back down to Area 51. He had his other sled. I wasn't sure we were going to get out. We only saw 3 other tracks, back there, all afternoon. That gives you an idea of how deep the snow was, when all the KK, Escapes, and other exteme long tracks weren't there. Wally, and his little 144 would have gone though, had he known!! ha ha

MMwildman,
Yeah we sure did have alot of snow. Especially close to Round Lake, although on Saturday I found untouched snow up on Henderson that was deep except for the ridges. I hit a rock hiding in the snow  and went over the bars landing about 20 feet in front of the RX-1; bent the left side of the handle bars, the left spindle and possibly the A-arms too :x  . The left ski is about 4 inches further back than the right one.

Damn! That sucks, didn't hear about that. Time for some liteweight parts? If not, buy mine, and I will. You didn't get hurt?

tundra, thanks for the tip. Out of curiosity, how heavy is the VK 540?
mmwildman, I wouldn't want to mess with you in the dark. (Just kidding).

It happened the day after John's mm blew it's chain case and drive shaft apart. I was riding with the guys staying next door to me. It was still ridable, just tough turning. All ready looking at MPI catalog. Wife says I can turbo too  . Just need to find the cash for it. I managed to land back in deep snow so yeah I got right back up.

Billings, Do you have the tips of your exhaust painted red? If so, I saw you on the trail in Cooke and saw your sled next to a cabin. I was riding my mountain max. The RX-1 is my flatland sled. We broke trail up past mutt & jeff, man was that snow deep. I was staying at a cabin a couple of miles out of town and was only in town for fuel. May be going back the end of Jan..Later......................Craig

Craig, Yeah my tips are anodized red. I was staying at the Cooke City Sinclair/Cabins.
MMwildman, She likes the height of the handle bars/ position on the REV, the power of my RX-1 mtn, the weight/handeling of the F-7 and the seat of the VE. Sounds like we might be waiting awhile and see if the '05 proto RMK is a truth or not. Either that, or do you know somebody that has a deal on a CMX, TMK etc....?
I let her ride my sled out to the parking lot while you guys went to retrieve John's sled while I rode the 800 VE. I left her at the Daisy trail and turned around to go back and get my keys. I rode that VE like "Ricky Racer" 80+ down the straights and as fast as possible without wrecking through the corners. She still beat me to the parking lot by 5+ minutes.
