Nasty Climb!

Hey Lakercr, come on over, the lodging will be free and all the Black Russians you can drink. Then we'll take you to the mountains for some real entertainment. I tried my boost at 13lbs and it blew the carbs off the motor, they seem to stay on at 12 though. The other thing is that when I make 3 or more passes on a hill back to back my airbox gets pretty warm. Building some good heat without the intercooler. Catch ya later.

I know it sounds wierd, but use hair spray to affix the carbs and airbox on. It really works, yet it does not complicate disasembly.

Hey Spray25, now who's smoke'n crack. If you use hair spray on it though she'd be the prettyest HEAVEY PIG out there. Just $hit'n ya. Yea that would probably work but I think it just needs a bracket so thats probably what I'll do. What it really needs is a intercooler and maybe I should try a BIGGER turbo and mabe even N.O.S. just for good measure and.................. Oh I have to go now the wifes giving me the look I told her last year if I could just do this one little thing (Build my own turbo kit) I would be sooooo happy. She never seen me all last summer, so I best not get too carried away this year.

I also used the hair spray but when I got all my air problems solved and went to high boost the carbs would not stay on that is why I made my brackets. The hair spray worked great at 8 to 10lbs of boost but I ran into trouble at high boost. It works great now!

Made a set of 'L' brackets from the IC to the Delta box. Carbs are good up to 17 PSI so far.
