finally got the dyno going on the rx-1, first run was kinda wimpy, on;ly made like 128 hp. , i thought wow this sucks. 2nd run was up a bit more, was thinkin the pipe needed to build some heat up in it and maybe the motor needed to clean out a bit, after the 5 th run it was 132.7. then runn number 6 we decided to give it a long pull from 5000 rpm up to 11 200. i think it was a 10 second pull on the dyno.that was the best run, made 135.1 at10200 to 10400 and held 132.5 till 10600. that was what to me seemed like a ok pull.this thing made over 100 hp right down at6500 rpm with 77 foot pounds of torque. dont seem bad to me. gonna install the boss noss in the next few days and see what that does. also we are gonna get a bone stock one to run also to see what improvements the ecp and the pipe did. ecp is garranteed gain as i know from testing onm the snow, but that dam bender muffler is really ear bleeding loud on the dyno in the shop, i have never heard nothing so loud. thinkin it will go back to stock muffler. my bender muffler is also ceramic coated looks like chrome.maybe will help keep the heat in

what was your h.p.? are you talking 1/4 time? i would think a rx would run faster than a 13, but i've never timed one before either

if you look on the mperformce dyno they only made 130 hp with maxximum perf can. the most i ever heard of on 03-04 was 135, i think some 05 sleds made 140 if i remeber right. At least mine is in the ballpark

135 to 137 average, does that mean stock or with thge filter and exhaust kits on? the boss noss is just about on. the motor seems to be running realy good, i think thats all its got, so 135.00 hp and the 60 hp boss noss hit should be good.Lets see what the 60 h.p shot actually turns into

In stock form, mine put out 132 HP on a 38* F rainy night (Dynomite). That was stock. I am running the ECP and Bender can now, but have not had it dyno'd since.

Sometimes I wonder if any gains made, come from the fact that the Bender weighs almost 12 lbs. lighter than the stock can?

The Bender may be loud in the shop, but out on the trail, all I hear is that ECP growl. Between the two, at moderate trail speeds, it sounds like a latemodel stock car. FUN :jump:

holey #*$&@, boss isnt lieing. first pull was 185 hp on the rich side of fuel. bogged for a bit then pulled to the rev limiter. got to add some more water pressure. only did 2 pulls on noss, not sure if i should be running higher octane fuel. stock today it pulled 137, i added the 10 ek plugs and the filters i got with my kit are a little different then the ecp kit, looks like the same as the hauck kit

Nice info rxwhopper especially about the boss numbers as I just bought a kit off of a rx1 suppposed to be two 50 hp nozzles,im going to change them out for 2 20hp ones.

I dynoed a xc800 in st.johns MI. alot of the grass draggers use him.He was straight up with me and told me the numbers Id see would be lower than what most claim. The xc made 151 hp with slp single and ported, the highest hed seen on a single pipe xc.The way I brought it made the most power everything we tried lost power,v force reeds lost 1.5 hp at peek. The slp air box top vs stock top ,slp 8 hp more.
