RX-1 Front Heat Exchanger

Is anyone familiar with the construction of the front heat exchanger for an RX-1? It is on my buddy's sled (previously owned by me) and was damaged on a recent trip. Kinda looks like a stud might have caught it on the middle ridge. Is that location weldable? I assume we will need to remove it regardless of the fix unless we can find someone that can weld it in place. A new exchanger can be ordered for $306 on partzilla as well (plus the 972 rivets). Just looking for recommendations on a path of action before we tear it down any more than necessary, though pretty sure the track will have to come out either way.

Its fixable, I have welded them in place.
