Got a friend that just now bought a RX-1 2003 with the MCX front mount turbo, aprox 210 hp with current boost. Got some problems to get it fast in 660 feet...know that the turbo need some distance to get their boost pumping, but what can we do to get to be fast from start? The track is a 1,25 lug, no studs and we start on snow, not on tracks. The sled really opens up just after we crossed the finish line on 660 feet(starts pulling lenghts on the competiton at aprox 700 feet and up)
Pleas give me some tips about what to do with clutching, got a race against the buddys planed in 1 month =)

Distance needed to get boost is like 10-15 ft at the most. Do you spin excessively at take off, what is your gearing? Please tell us your exact setup in clutches, gearing, rear suspension setup, boost level. What is engagement rpms, shift rpms, top rpms. We need details to be able to help you out.
I think you're not hooking up, how is your transfer set? Set FRA in soft position, upper hole, back off spring pressure on the rear shock spring.
