I can't see what any one would wan't 300 HP on the trail for? Yeiks!

Welll, I had a 200hp ish 2005 RX 1 Limited and it was not quite enough.

I was thinking of building up my 2011 Apex SE to 250 ish with 10-12 lbs, probably Supercharged since the friend I sold the RX 1 to had done that and 240 ish seemed about right.

I wanted the power steering since I had developed Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Allen Ulmer had built a 2011 Apex XTX for 4Kops who I guess wanted the 315 hp. [the build & dyno sheets are posted by Allen in the Turbo section here.]

Jeff gave me a price I couldn't refuse as he had a couple of Nitro projects he wanted to pursue.

315 is a handful but sure is one pile of fun :-o and there is not anyone who can lay a whoopin on you on the trail. I've had it up to 220 kph (137 mph) . It had more, I didn't. :bling

The AEM Tru Boost controller is going on so I can dial it back a bit for every day trail riding. The Scramble mode is there for 20 seconds if needed to school someone. I'm thinking of 6 & 11 lbs for modes 1 & 2 so I can play with the low & mid boost guys on equal footing.

I'm guessing you may end up like GSXR and find the 200 kit is not quite enough. He rode with it one year & then upgraded to the 290.

Boost is addictive. No doubt about it.

LOL I hear ya! I could go to 240 + with the new ignition box from Dyno Jet that pulls timing with boost, a fuel pump and regulator.
I have a stumble with quick throttle movement above idle that is annoying.
Does yours do that? I have heard of this from a couple others as well.

Throttle response is slower / very slight stumble is there ,blipping throttle just above idle when not fully heated up.

After it warms up it is fine. Not the same as a stocker or Supercharged for low end throttle response but I have never driven a Turbo anything that is at low rpm.

The Dyno sheets say it all.

It's OMG over 35 MPH though. :-o

I have the stumble even after warm up and so far can't clean it up. After some time on it and Allan slows down later in the season we may try again. What AFR are you at just over idle?
I had to add another 3 grams to each arm to keep it off REV limiter at 5 LB or so. At nine grams per arm total now over stock with same STM's. ;)!

I'll have to check & get back to you.

Rode the stocker this weekend as was riding with a bud who was 10 days out of a vasectomy so we left the Turbos in the shop as there was no need for speed.
