My RX-1 MCX had 130 main jets, my new engine came with 135s. I ride from sea level to 6000 ft, which jets should I go with, or is there even enough difference to matter? I could use some suggestions on carb set up, as I am building a set from two full sets, one new, one used. My old engine broke the crank and #1 connecting rod. The new one has had something corrosive run into the one of the carbs and will need some parts swapped, or maybe I will just use the old carbs...

Do you have an AFR meter?
Run the 135s and let us know what the AFR meter says.

Not a MCX but thought you might be interested.

We run 127.5's on a MPI Supercharged RX 1.

AFR's are plenty Fat.

We have run that at 6 & 12 lbs both .

Sea Level to 1,000 ft

The sled has no AFR meter, it ran for 12000km before the engine died an unceremonious death. The sled was used in Prince George BC before I got it, and it did not last long here. It was running 12-13lbs boost, and has a high low boost vacuum switch on the turbo. Which jets would be safer to run since we start riding at sea level? Do I need an AFR meter?
