Just got my new Warrior and I was looking it over. Where is the oil filter?
When you change the oil do you drain it from the engine and the oil tank?
When you refill it after changing, how much do you put in?
Where do you put it in; the engine or the oil tank or both?
Just looking for those that have experienced doing it! Thanks!

You remove the airbox for access to the oil filter. You remove oil from both the engine AND the oil tank. When filling, only add to the oil tank. Add 3 quarts, run it to warm up, then top it up to the dipstick.

In addition to the airbox, you will also have to remove the battery and the batter holder. Only way to access it.

There was an article in the September snow tech about changing the oil and they used the RX1 as an example. Isn't all this info in the owners manual too? I know I read it somewhere. maybe it was just in that article.

Yup, all in the manual, but the manual doesn't tell you what a royal pain in the a** it really is.
