RX-1 or RX-Warrior Anybody use K&N Filters?

Any one have any luck with K&N Filters for their RX-1 motors? If so where did you get them?

all i could find on the k&n site were pods. do they make a direct replacement style filter for the rx-1. and if so what is the part number.?

Has anyone used K&N OIL Filters? My son just installed one on his Triumph Motorcycle, and it has a hex nut attached to the end for easier installation and removal. Plus it is drilled out for safety wire.

i know that in my car when i switch from a fram to a purolator i get a considerable jump in oil pressure. it probably doesent filter as fine, but to me a jump in oil pressure is more important than a few microscopic particles. i would be very interested to see how the k&n fares. and that lug nut is a big plus.

sled headz cut open a Napa, wix, K&N and found that the Wix was the best, Napa 2nd, and K&N was really poor. This isn't the first time I heard this about K&N oil filters, for my subaru a guy did the same thing and came to the same conclusion!

maxdlx-was that the correct air filter Number? I didn't see it in K&N's online catalog, but I did find RU-2922. Please advise....Thanks
