Please excuse an ignorant question from a newbie but....

What's the difference between just an "RX-1" vs. an "RX Warrior"?

I'm hoping to buy a used RX-1 next season but am just unaware of what a "Warrior" is or why I would/would not prefer one over the RX-1.

Thanks!
Bob

RX1 has a 121' track while the Warrior has a 136' track. For 05' the RX1 gets the new Monoshock rear skid, while the Warrior keeps the most recent version of the ProAction rear skid. RX1 is a little faster on top, but probably give up a little in acceleration to the Warrior due to hook-up.

Chicks only dig guys on black RX1 shorties. If you mention that it has a turbo, you usually get to meet her friends as well.

The RX-1 has a 121" track and the Warrior has a 136" track and is geared slightly differently (Lower I believe) than the RX-1.

Apparently, (at least with the Proaction Rear suspension) the Warrior's longer track is a better fit to the suspension.

Sorry to burst your bubble but size does matter and they prefer the longer version ;)!

In all seriousness Grassfirebob, go with the Warrior. I had both and definately prefer the Warrior. It does everything better with the possible exception of absolute top end, but the Warrior does get there quicker.

Unless you are talking new, in that case I might want to give the new mono shock rear skid a try. I do however prefer the looks of the Warrior, the longer skid looks more in proportion with the long front.
