Anyone done the tunnel dump exhaust? Can you use glasspacks or a streetbike exhaust and do you have to add baffles to keep the noise down? :-o

yes and yes for the first 2 questions. The third depends on the muffler you use.
I do not and it it loud when you hammer the throttle. Rather nice tone and slower engine speeds

What kind of setup did you go with? Any pics? Thnx.

there used to be a link to my sled in my sig. Not sure where it went??????
Anyway if you go into the 4-stroke Sled Garage. Look for Sobfrogg's RX1Project and there are pics in there.
Hope it helps

i used a baffle with my glasspack. Napa has a racing version of the glasspack that you have to order, but is shorter and thinner in diameter. I would have done this if i were to do it again. I also followed the posted link when doing mine, the pipe goes out and back in very easily, just some fab work to plug the hole in the tunnel where the catalytic converter was

Had to chuckle about the 'catalytic converter' comment in reference to the old muffler/cover in the tunnel. Did you install your baffle before or after the glasspack? Is the glasspack a straight-thru design....

i put the baffle in at the same time during install, the posted link shows the baffle install....i have an extra somewhere the glass pack from napa is a straight through design, and it sound very good too
