welterracer: My needles are in the third position (if the needles have 5 positions), I've checked them so they aren't loose.
I really have to crack the throttle when I'm starting it, much more then my friends with their RX1's. Perhaps something with the bowls, and the machine is getting flooded when I ride. How do I check the adjustment of those?
I'm thinking of lower the needles, but then why would I have to do and noone else has do do it where I live?
The fuelscrews is at 1 5/8, and I'm the only one thats has them there, everyone else has them 2 turns out.
Let the ideas flow...

Just trying a different dirrection ,When I got my 05 I'd never had a 4str before and when putting on ecp the motor would burrble I would swear it was rich after reading on this site and changing all adjs. a couple times I found what the differnces in a 4str. motor was lean.Get the motor running right , your plugs sound close, make sure your pilots aren;t plugged put your fuel screws back stock 2 turns move the clips down one if you still have a bog after above, make sure pilots aren;t plugged. Once you get enough fuel to this motor or if I;m wrong get motor running right then compare how much fuel it takes compared to another rx that is riding with you that day. I say that because not all speedos are equal, mine with 2 teeth removed is suposed to be close spd wise but low odom. milage. when I pull in for fuel I still take the least amount by alot compared to most, although my buddies new Mach is doing good for for the hp he;s got just my thoughts.

Ok, I'm on my way to clean the carbs, check the TPS and floats (only if I get the info on how to check the floats).
Shall I remove pilot/main jets during the cleaning?
I shall take some photos of the plugs and post it here.
If the engine is to lean I guess it wouldn't have so much power, but it's easy to get it to show 180 km/h on the dream-o-meter and about 170 km/h on the GPS, still pulling faster.
Now I remember one thing. During the breakin my pilots where plugged, I could only get it going by cranking the choke. The dealer didn't take the carbs out, instead the mechanic did a mouthfull blow-job on the carbs evac hoses
Could it still be some traces left that ruins my MPG?

I just checked the TPS and it was adjusted to 0.666 and about 3.8 att full throttle. I read that it should be between 0.71 and 0.775
Could this affect MPG or something else in a bad way and should I adjust it?

Update:
Disassemled the carbs and noticed that the O-ring thats around the mainjet is totally shredded on all carbs. Whats the use of those O-rings?
Has anyone any idea of the TPS readout at 0.666?
Here's a picture of the plugs, the second from the left was a little wet, the others where dry. Any suggestion based on the picture?
TIA

Replace those O rings... THEY MUST BE THERE... Or you will use more gas..
