just redone all bearings on my 04 warrior, new driveshaft(it broke in half)jackshaft bearings, adjusted my track a little tighter than usual,me and my bro took off for a 130 mile ride, wanted to see if everything i had done was ok,no vibes at all, machine seems smoother,at the end of the day i fueled up and did my best mpg ever,20mpg cdn, before i averaged 17 to 18,my bro's 03 rx1 is harder on gas for some reason,he only pulled 16 mpg, that' 4 mpg difference, any idea why,he does have the cone track vs my ripsaw, both have the same tension

airbox foam dirty, stick coils dirty, ski alignment, skid bearings, dual carbides, worn belt, clutches mis-aligned, weight of rider, weight of thumb on said rider, carb sync. suspension settings, just to name a few. fuel milage and performance are there when all your ducks are in a row.

Clean out the coils, it made a big difference on my machine. Starts easier in the cold, idles smoother and WOT engine speed picked up by a good 200 RPM.

How do people recommend cleaning the coils? I blew the inside out and wiped the outside. Does anyone wipe them with any type of cleaner? Does anyone spray them with contact cleaner?

Its the bearings I think, i re-did mine and wow I can actually turn the track by hand where I couldn't before I started. My old ones were not bad but really gummed up, think I will re-grease them every season.
